This policy explains how Codidea and OptimPOS collect, use, and protect personal data.

Information we collect
We collect information you provide through contact forms or project inquiries, such as name, email, phone number, and message details. Through OptimPOS, our point-of-sale product, we additionally collect phone numbers and email addresses from the end users of our clients, for the purpose of sending WhatsApp notifications and email invoices. We may also collect basic analytics data to improve our website and services.
How we use your information
We use your data to respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, deliver software services, and maintain client relationships. Data collected by OptimPOS (phone number and email address) is used exclusively to: (1) send transaction notifications and commercial communications via Meta's WhatsApp Business Cloud API, and (2) send invoices and payment receipts by email. We do not sell your personal data and only share it with trusted service providers when necessary, including Meta Platforms, Inc. as the WhatsApp API provider.
WhatsApp Business Cloud API and Meta
To send WhatsApp notifications from OptimPOS, Codidea uses the WhatsApp Business Cloud API managed by Meta Platforms, Inc. When using OptimPOS, end users' phone data is processed by Meta under their own privacy policies. WhatsApp messages are sent only to users who have given prior consent. Users who wish to stop receiving messages may request this directly from the business using OptimPOS or by contacting contact@codidea.com.
Consent and opt-out
Registering data in OptimPOS requires explicit consent from the end user. Any person whose data has been registered in OptimPOS may at any time: (1) request access to their data, (2) request correction of inaccurate data, (3) request deletion of their data (right to erasure), or (4) revoke consent to receive communications via WhatsApp or email. Data security and retention
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. Contact form data is retained as long as an active business relationship exists. End user data in OptimPOS is retained while the client maintains an active subscription. After cancellation, data is deleted within a maximum of 30 days, unless the law requires its retention.
Data transfers to third parties
Codidea may share personal data only with the following third parties when necessary to provide the service: (1) Meta Platforms, Inc. (WhatsApp Business Cloud API) for sending notifications; (2) transactional email providers for sending invoices; (3) cloud infrastructure providers for secure data storage. We never sell, rent, or transfer personal data to third parties for advertising purposes.
Your rights
You may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by writing to contact@codidea.com or visiting our data deletion page. We will respond to your request within a maximum of 30 business days.
